Sponsor A Horse
Would you like to be a special friend to one of our horses? A recurring monthly donation means security for an unwanted horse because we know that we will have a regular source of funding for that horse’s feed, medicine, health care.
Why should I sponsor a horse?
Sponsoring a horse is a wonderful way to help if you have limited time-space or finances and can’t commit to a lifetime of horse care. It is an opportunity to make a difference by directly helping one of the rescued horses. Your monthly donation will help provide feed, supplements, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and other costs that are directly associated with your sponsorship. Sponsorship can be a great gift idea or a wonderful program for groups or organizations. Rescued horses are usually in need of special care from the extra feed, supplements to medical care. This can be very expensive care for the rescue to handle. HHRS is in need of sponsors! It takes a lot of grain and hay to feed the horses for a month. We also use a lot of supplements. We would love to help more horses in need (there is a waiting list of those wanting to relinquish their horses to the rescue) so sponsoring a horse already at the rescue would allow the rescue to help others in need!
How much does it cost?
You can choose the monthly amount you would like to send! Every dollar helps!

ceder is a 17 year old standardbred gelding that is apart of our sanctuary program in East Brookfield mass. Ceder was pulled from a kill pen after being a buggy horse and not longer being able to pull a buggy. His back legs could no longer handle the everyday work. so now he lives out in the herd loving life. Ceder would love a sponsor to help cover his monthly cost at the sanctuary ? you can click on the photo to help
